The deal, in plain English

yipiQ is a study app made by Stephanie Coaching for students — mostly aged 8 to 14 — and the teachers and tutors who work with them. A child's account needs a grown-up's say-so: either their school or tutor authorises it through a class code, or a parent or guardian explicitly approves it on a private page. Before that happens, the learner has only a local three-card sample: the full app is locked and the sample does not save answers or study history. Anyone using yipiQ agrees to these terms; for a child, the agreeing is done by the adult who authorised the account.

The rules are the ones you'd expect in a good classroom:

• Be kind. Nothing mean, rude, or hurtful in cards, stories, posts, or chat. Everything a student writes can be seen by their teacher.
• Keep personal details out of your work. No addresses, phone numbers, emails, or full names — yours or anyone else's — inside cards, stories, or posts. If something like that shows up, it gets flagged for a human to check.
• Your account is yours alone. Don't share your password, and don't sign in as someone else.
• Play fair. No cheating the games, no poking at the system to make it misbehave, and no using yipiQ for anything unlawful.

We may remove content or close an account that breaks these rules. Where a teacher runs the class, breaches are also theirs to handle, the same as any classroom matter.

A child's work stays theirs. Flashcards, stories, and everything else a student makes belong to the student — we claim no ownership over any of it. By making things in yipiQ, the student lets us store and show that work inside the app so the product can function: their teacher can see class work, and anything they deliberately publish to a class feed is visible to that class. yipiQ itself — the software, the design, the games — belongs to Stephanie Coaching.

yipiQ is provided as-is. We look after it carefully — it runs on our own server and we back it up — but we can't promise it will never be down, never lose a millisecond of progress, or never have a bug. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses from using (or not being able to use) yipiQ; nothing in these terms limits rights that Australian law says can't be limited, including the Australian Consumer Law. We may add, change, or retire features as the product grows.

These terms cover yipiQ only. Video lessons are provided separately by Stephanie Coaching through Radiance and are outside these yipiQ terms.
